Abstract
This study aims to assess the suitability and relevance of an intervention in adolescents at the level of other shame. This intervention is part of a socio-emotional skills program entitled "Alinha com a Vida" for the promotion of Emotional Intelligence. The study sample is composed of 229 students, attending the 8th grade. The research is qualitative, with the collection and analysis of data passed from the content analysis. The results suggest that adolescents acquire skills in the identification, differentiation and knowledge of shame and has shown interest and a positive performance in activities.
