Abstract

Integrada no conceito mais geral da Esperança, a esperança no trabalho tem sido conceptualizada como o recursofundamental na promoção do funcionamentoótimo do indivíduo no contexto do trabalho. Oobjetivodeste estudoé analisar a dimensionalidade da Escala Esperança no Trabalho com uma amostra de 490 estudantes a frequentaro 11º ano do ensino secundário Português.A escala evidencia bons índices de consistência interna e devalidadede constructo. Existem diferenças significativas entre grupos,em especial entre ao nível do género e do tipo de via de ensino.
