Abstract

The literary writings of Agustín F. Paz reflected scenes of school life in Galicia at different points in time during the Franco regime and the Transition. This paper aims to create a dialogue between the narrations of the writer and the works other Galician authors who have also contributed to the historical memory of schools, thus creating a kaleidoscope of perspectives which offer some thought-provoking, but also harsh criticism of schools at that time.
