Abstract

This study investigated the social representations of teachers of initial series about the involvement of affection in their profession from the perspective of pleasure and displeasure. The theory of social representations was the reference to feature and highlight the pleasurable aspects and displeasure that link to relationships. The data collection instrument was the writing of a text about the pleasures and the displeasures of the teaching profession. Study subjects were thirty-five teachers.  The results indicate that the affective links are represented in the exercise of the profession much more by displeasure than for pleasure.
