Abstract

Para abordar la Sexualidad en la vejez, se consideran los cambios físicos y psicosociales, que acontecen en ambos sexos, en este momento de la vida, así como la existencia de una serie de mitos en torno a aquélla. Todos estos cambios repercuten, modificando, su vida sexual y lo que conocemos como su respuesta sexual. Estos cambios, pueden conllevar, diferentes problemas sexuales, ante los cuales presentamos soluciones posibles. La educación para la salud sexual en la vejez es una herramienta adecuada para hacer que esta etapa de la vida se viva en armonía.
