Abstract
At a technological age of global crisis, which is not very favourable to the value of education, it is urgent to awake the pleasure to be at school. The current action-research study developed in a Portuguese school from the centre of Portugal, in 2012/ 2013 and 2013/ 2014, is a reflection on the pedagogical use of video by students, as a source of awakening the pleasure to be at school. Every year the students organized a Cinema Festival to disseminate their final products among the school community. The SWOT analysis of the students’ reports identified the advantages and disadvantages (cognitive, affective, time, effort).
