Factors influencing ethical sales orientation among small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
Main Article Content
Abstract
Sales are the main driving force of company targets and results. In recent years, ethical sales and corporate social responsibility (CSR) have become essential parts of companies’ strategies to achieve these goals. The aim of this study is to examine the factors that influence the move towards ethical sales, particularly in relation to SMEs. The study is based on an empirical study of 94 companies in the Murcia region (Spain). The results show a correlation between CEO training and ethical sales orientation and that an ethical sales orientation is more likely when CEO training is accompanied by a CSR plan.
