Gender Discrimination Factors in Schools in the Context of Globalization Learning with “the other” as pedagogical practice against violence and stereotypes

Abstract
The strengthening of globalization is made possible by the support of the educational system when it assumes a position in which patriarchal hegemony is the norm, and attitudes and behavior considered to be feminine are devalued. In this situation educators can target the relationships students establish at school as a key part of an educational process that fosters the development of individuals who will become autonomous and collaborative in both the public and private sphere. Schools have highlighted the need for a critical review of the values and attitudes that we, as a society, want schools to teach, and that educators agree are a priority: reducing the level of violence in schools and breaking gender stereotypes. These activities aim to promote equal relationships between men and women and to foster a critical attitude toward the practice of differentiated socialization based on gender in a context of globalization.
