Abstract

This research examines three current trends that may be able to transform the work methods employed in primary education schools. These methodological trends move away from a conventional focus, but they are by no means newcomers, having been studied for decades, as reflected in the literature. We present an in-depth examination of outdoor activities, experiential learning and cooperative work, from a theoretical perspective. We will also analyse the primary education curriculum, in order to see if these methodologies can fit into current educational programs.
