Abstract
Even though biological evolution is essential to comprehend the world we live in, every year thousands of students leave the Spanish education system without developing this content in detail. The research presented – only its first part is covered in this article – studied the possibility of introducing biological evolution in primary education through the analysis of the curricula from different countries and states, to be more specific, Spain, Portugal, England (UK), California and New York (USA).
