Abstract
This collective work brings together research and reflections by Spanish, Portuguese, and Brazilian authors in honour of Professor Alfonso Barca-Lozano (1948–2024), a key figure in the field of Evolutionary Psychology and Education. It consists of twenty-three chapters, organised into five thematic blocks that reflect the honouree's lines of work: (i) Factors involved in learning and school performance; (ii) Inclusion and educational support needs; (iii) Child development and positive parenting; (iv) Higher education and curriculum; and (v) Research methods and knowledge transfer. It also includes a preface and an epilogue. The chapters combine theoretical frameworks and recent empirical evidence, offering a broad, interdisciplinary and applied perspective of representative themes from developmental and educational psychology.
