The goal of this article, is to show the process of the General Law of the Access of Women to a Life free of Violence, in Mexico. This law, improved from the women’s human rights approach, is the core mechanism to eliminate femicide violence and each violation of women’s rights, which includes to eliminate also both social and State’s impunity.

This article aims to analyze the advances and setbacks in women's right to a life free of violence in Mexico, three decades after its formal recognition in the norm and in the international programmatic framework of human rights.

The aim of this article is to provide an account of the process of implementing the progress indicators adopted by the MESECVI to measure compliance with the Belem do Pará Convention. This is done by identifying the necessary characteristics and sources of information, along with highlighting some of the results achieved in this process. It is emphasized that the information provided by the application of this indicator system is not only essential for guiding the efforts of the States within the framework of their international obligations, but it is also highly valuable for citizens, academia, and civil society in their monitoring and advocacy work to advance women's right to a life free from violence.

This article focuses on the classification of political violence within the legal framework in Mexico, recognized as paradigmatic, as it is through feminist activism that a notable legal and institutional framework is established. In particular, it analyzes a successful feminist intervention model: the Regional Nodes, which in the state of Guerrero have allowed for the prevention and addressing of political violence, thereby promoting women's access to justice.

The generation of information about serious human rights violations committed in times of peace and armed conflict has been a crucial element in the processes of democratic reestablishment. Information allows for the discovery of truth, the identification of paths towards prevention, and the establishment of mechanisms for reparation for victims and their families. This experience, which was built under the umbrella of international human rights law, still lacks an equivalent for the lives of women. The persistence of violence against women and girls, along with the presence of gender stereotypes in the production of information and narratives, places the responsibilities that states should fulfill in terms of truth, justice, reparation, and guarantees of non-recurrence on feminist organizations and the families of femicide victims.

Sociodigital violence is one of the forms of violence against women that has received significant attention in recent years, due to its serious effects on the psychological, sexual, and physical integrity of millions of women worldwide. However, even though more than twenty behaviors associated with sociodigital violence against women have been identified, the development of regulatory frameworks and public policies continues to focus on very few, and without a comprehensive approach that allows for the implementation of mechanisms for prevention, attention, punishment, and reparation of harm with the aim of its elimination.Texto resumen idioma secundario.

Recently, television series have opted for female protagonists who, in addition to having a leading role in the plots, bring to the forefront socially important issues such as gender violence or motherhood. The Spanish public television broadcaster, Televisión Española (TVE), participates in this trend by offering fictions to the audience that articulate interesting debates on gender inequality. This paper offers a textual analysis of two recent television series: La otra mirada (TVE: 2018-2019) and Néboa (TVE: 2020), in which there is an unquestionable female protagonism. From a feminist perspective, it is concluded that both Spanish fictions articulate complex characters, defined by their personality and determination and their ability to deal with sexist situations.

This article analyzes the influence of pornography consumption in minors and young people in the normalization of violent behaviors in sexual relations through a theoretical study that examines different theoretical and empirical investigations that have delved into the reality under study. These investigations confirm the visualization of pornography as a learning medium for the reproduction of sexual violence, and the repercussion that its consumption has on the attitudes of individuals. They also show that the pornography industry creates and reinforces gender stereotypes and unrealistic expectations about women's bodies, which can lead to self-imposed pressures to comply with these ideals and psychological damage. It is concluded that pornography consumption is not a determining factor in the normalization of violent behavior in sexual relationships, but it is a factor that influences and mediates, invisibly and inevitably, this normalization.
