Abstract

This paper analyzes the life and career of Veneranda Garcia Manzano, her early days as a teacher, her participation in political life and her period in exile. Like many others she stood out as a protagonist in a time of hope and she was the incarnation of a reality in Spain that did not take hold . It chronicles the story of the life of a teacher who lived during the first third of the 20th century, especially reflecting the period of the Second Republic in Spain
