Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word format and the entire article is in the official magazine template that can be downloaded here https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1_yC1-JvzpZePz0u4RojhTl1e2CW01s4q?usp=sharing
- I confirm that the metadata corresponding to the title, abstract and keywords of the article are in both languages (Spanish and English). Articles that do not meet this premise will be rejected.
- The submission has not been previously published or submitted for consideration by any other journal (or an explanation has been provided in the Comments to the Editor).
- Whenever possible, bibliographic references should have their DOI at the end.
- The manuscript presented has 1.5 lines spacing, with margins of 3 centimeters on its upper and lower edges and 2.5 centimeters on its right and left edges, in Time New Roman font with 12pt size characters, black ink and pages numbered in the center of the footer and from the first page. The titles of the sections of the article are in bold and lowercase (only the first letter in capital letters).
- The text adheres to the stylistic and biliographic requirements outlined in Author's Guidelines , which appear in About the journal.
- Tables, figures, graphics and images are numbered, inserted into the text in their correct place and have a legend complying with APA sixth or serventh edition standards (choose one).
- I confirm that I am sending two separate Word files. The first file, AUTHOR DATA, includes all the author data indicated in the submission guidelines; full name and surname of all authors and their order of appearance, affiliations, ORCID and contact email of the main author. The second file, FULL TEXT, includes the title of the work, abstract and keywords in both languages; Spanish and English, followed by the full text of the work with the different sections or subsections and finally the bibliographical references according to APA standards, sixth or seventh edition, including the DOI of all articles that have one.
- I am aware that submitted articles will have to pay a fee of 200 euros if accepted. This fee will be paid once the article is accepted and is necessary to maintain the quality standards of the journal and to cover the expenses of the professionals who work there, as it does not have public or private funding.
- The article includes a minimum of 30 bibliographic references, adhering to APA standards (6th or 7th edition, choose one) and with each DOI activated (it must be in blue with an active link).
Original papers
It includes descriptive, experimental, or qualitative research in the field of school sports, sport, physical education, or psychomotor skills. The maximum length of the manuscript will be 6,000 words, including a minimum of 30 updated bibliographic references (50% from the last five years) and abstracts in Spanish and English. For observational studies (cross-sectional, cohort, or case-control), the STROBE Initiative Statement (Strengthening the Reporting of Observational Studies in Epidemiology) is required. For experimental studies, the CONSORT Guidelines (CONsolidated Standards of Reporting Trials) are required.
Reviews
Including those of a systematic and narrative nature, these correspond to updates on a specific topic related to the work of sports coaches, teachers, or psychomotor therapists. The maximum length of the manuscript is 8,000 words, including up to 100 updated bibliographic references (50% from the last five years) and summaries in Spanish and English. For systematic studies, the PRISMA Declaration (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) must be followed.
