Abstract

The purgue of the magisterium in  A Coruña, from July 1936 when the Spanish Civil War began, is the central theme that Professor Narciso de Gabriel addresses in this work in an exhaustive manner, to make an analysis of the process of which the teachers were victims and, by extension, the educational system that the Second Republic was building since 1931.
