Abstract

This paper summarizes the results of 5 years of environmental education and campaigning undertaken within the Iberian lynx conservation Life projects. After a short introduction, the social con flicts that the project has been facing are shown up as well as the social instruments used to respond them. A special attention is given to actions carried out with the education sector. In conclusion, an assessment of the activities and social instruments is presented with a short note on their relation with the practical ecological management.
