Abstract

There are numerous species of bats which appear in the lists of threatened or extinct species, and the protocols to determine their status are not always in operation. Research and the establishment of markers, as well as the management of species are key instruments for the protection of these creatures. Moreover, however, research and management require environmental education and communication in order to bring about the fulfilment Protection Plans as the ideal instrument with which to work with the population, which is a necessary ally.
