View Vol. 32 No. 1-2 (2025): In memory of Michéle Sato

The loss of Michèle Sato remains a painful absence but one that continues to provoke encounters, alliances and synergies. She has not ceased to be among us and her legacy is being taken up again with a mixture of longing, gratitude, commitment, encounter, denunciation and research committed to people and the Planet.
This issue collects the memory of her post-doctoral stay at the University of A Coruña, which is ultimately an autobiographical journey that was a large part of her academic life and ecosocial commitment. With the posthumous publication of this work we want to keep her memory and her legacy alive.
We also collect the legacy of other thinkers who are no longer with us. In this case, with significant contributions from deep ecology in Finland: Pentti Lonkola.
Research groups continue to be the engine of a critical and situated Environmental Education. This issue presents a bibliometric review on climate change in the State of Paraná and the challenges that the REAJA research group may face without the leadership of Michèle Sato.
This issue ends with a series of experiences both linked to formal education (with curricular experiences in Environmental Education and school gardens), and to public policies (in this case, against forest fires).
