Innovación no turismo idiomático: Examinar a sinerxia entre os eventos experienciais e a adquisición de segundas linguas

Resumo
Esta investigación estuda o potencial transformador da aprendizaxe experimental nunhas vacacións de curta duración para novos estudantes de inglés no Reino Unido. Explora o impacto polifacético de diversas actividades, como talleres culturais, visitas guiadas e interaccións cotiás, na adquisición dunha segunda lingua (o inglés) e o desenvolvemento persoal. Empregando un enfoque de métodos mixtos, o estudo combina enquisas a estudantes e responsables de grupos con entrevistas a profesionais do sector para obter unha comprensión exhaustiva do panorama actual e a eficacia percibida dos modelos da aprendizaxe experimental no turismo idiomático do Reino Unido. Os resultados revelan a existencia dunha gran variedade de actividades que promoven a comunicación auténtica e a inmersión cultural, o que xera un alto grao de satisfacción entre os estudantes e os responsables de grupo. Percíbese que a aprendizaxe experiencial mellora significativamente as competencias lingüísticas, aumenta a confianza e promove o crecemento persoal en áreas como a resiliencia, a apertura mental e a independencia. Os datos cualitativos subliñan ademais a importancia das contornas de aprendizaxe dinámicos, o intercambio intercultural e o papel dos educadores á hora de facilitar experiencias de aprendizaxe significativas. A investigación tamén recoñece os retos loxísticos asociados á realización de actividades da aprendizaxe experimental e subliña a necesidade dunha planificación coidadosa, adaptabilidade e comunicación clara. Este estudo achega probas empíricas que apoian a eficacia dos enfoques da aprendizaxe experimental nos programas de vacacións de estudos. Ofrece implicacións prácticas para mellorar a calidade e o impacto dos devanditos programas, avogando por un enfoque holístico que integre diversas actividades, dea prioridade ao deseño centrado no estudante e promova a interacción intercultural. Ao aproveitar o poder da aprendizaxe experimental e a innovación, os provedores de servizos de turismo idiomático poden crear experiencias transformadoras que capaciten aos estudantes para alcanzar os seus obxectivos idiomáticos e prosperar nun mundo interconectado.
