This work recovers a article written by Finish environmental thinker Pentii Linkola (1932-2020), originally published in the book Can Life Prevail? A Radical Approach to the Environmental Crisis (2004). This forgotten article in environmental ethics provides a radical but grounded perspective on ecological problems that threaten the biosphere, as well as offer a unique vision into deep ecology. Having spent most of his life working as a professional fisherman and philosopher, today he is among the foremost exponents of the philosophy of deep ecology in Finland. This work makes the lucid, challenging writing of Linkola available to the Spanish-speaking public for the first time.
