Abstract

The network culture has given rise to new formulations regarding intimacy and its transformation of the spheres of power and relationship. The folds in public and private life that make up this culture present ambivalent readings if reference is made to connected life and the construction of citizenship and subjectivity.

Faced with the criticism of the Internet as an engine of exposure and commodification of the subject, feminism has managed to take over the network to make visible and share the private from a political intentionality. This article aims to address some of the powers and risks of feminism on the Internet as a public-private sphere where new forms of creating intimacy and citizenship are negotiated.
