Abstract

The aim of this article is to examine the enormous influence of English in the field of sex and eroticism in Spanish in the last decades, especially after the Transition period, keeping pace with the rapid social and political changes and the new airs of freedom which have taken place in Spain. In particular, it reviews the lexical anglicisms and calques that have filled the various semantic fields conforming this sphere of language (sexual devices and games, erotic dresses, new sexual identities, etc.).
