Abstract
This research tries to expose the importance the Edictum Theodoricistudy, to understand the evolution of Roman Law and the scope of its implementation in practice of the Ostrogothic Italy in the 6th century. We have focussed on the legal situation of women in the regulation of abduction, statutory rape, rape and adultery.
