Focus and Scope

The Anuario da Facultade de Dereito da Universidade da Coruña is an interdisciplinary academic journal that welcomes scholarly contributions from all branches of law.

Publication Frequency

The journal is published annually (covering the period from January to December), although articles are released on the platform as they successfully complete the double-blind peer review process.

External Double-Blind Peer Review Process

The Editorial Committee submits received manuscripts to external experts for evaluation. Based on their reports, the Committee decides whether to publish the work. The review process is external and follows a double-blind model.

Decisions are communicated to authors via the journal’s platform. In case of rejection, the reasons provided by the reviewers will be shared with the authors.

Submission and acceptance dates for each article will be clearly indicated in the publication.

If accepted manuscripts do not meet the editorial formatting requirements outlined in section 2, they will be returned to the authors, who will be given a minimum of five days to make the necessary formal corrections. If the corrected manuscript is not returned within the deadline, it will be understood that the author has withdrawn their submission.

Publishing in the Anuario does not prevent authors from submitting their work to other publications, provided that its prior appearance in this journal is duly acknowledged.

The Anuario does not necessarily endorse the opinions expressed by authors in the published articles. Authors are solely responsible for the content of their work.

Ethical Code

This journal adheres to the Code of Conduct and the principles of best practice established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in its Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.

All submissions to the Anuario are analyzed using specialized plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with 50% or more non-original content will not be accepted, unless the nature of the work justifies such a result.

This journal provides open access to its content, based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
