This article presents a mitigation method against packet-dropping cyberattacks in networked control systems that employ
the transmission of measurements via threshold crossing. The proposal is based on adjusting the amplitude of said thresholds to
preserve control loop performance in terms of steady-state error, keeping it within design specifications, while simultaneously
conserving robustness margins against the appearance of limit cycles induced by this data transmission strategy.
