Internet service providers liability for copyright infringements using framing

Abstract
Framing may affect copyright to the extent that website operators embed a work or other protected subject matter hosted on a different page. Currently, the risk for protected works has increased because of replacing framing for inline frame, which shows the work as an integral element of the site by embedding external resources from another website without users being aware of it. This paper analyses the evolution concerning CJEU pronouncements regarding Internet service providers liability in respect of the use of framing during the last decade.
