A manual is presented with theoretical and practical, relevant to delve into the different approaches to the concept of competence and to optimize the teaching / learning of skills implications. Useful for teachers, trainers, professionals, researchers and students to encourage the acquisition and development of competences. Considering cooperation as one of the greatest successes in education. It is structured in seven chapters, showing legislative and educational aspects of introductory regarding the terms competition, evolution, conceptualization, analysis and proposals his teaching with teaching criteria, noting the importance of promoting "cooperative experiences" and "synthesis of knowledge, know to do and know to be," concluding with implications for students / teachers derived from the pedagogical proposal.
